Frese now has an open position as Regional Sales Director in Frese’s Buildings segment in China. The Regional Sales Director will work throughout China and should be visiting, knowing, and selling to the stakeholders of the HVAC market in China. In this role you will be working closely with the Chinese sales organization in Frese Valves Ningbo, and be reporting to the Global Sales Director, Buildings, located in Frese A/S, Denmark.
Main responsibilities include:
• Developing and executing a growth strategy and plan for Frese China, HVAC Buildings segment
• Leadership, daily management and continued development of a high performing sales team as well as a high performing distribution channel
• Building and promoting strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs.
• Acting as the market and application expert in new product development projects, including ensuring impactful product launches in the market. And identifying trends, market shifts, and needs, while being fully aware of new products and competition status.
• Reporting to the Global Sales responsible for Frese Buildings and engage with the Global Sales leadership team while contributing to the overall growth and development of Frese Buildings, Frese China as well as the APAC region
The profile we are looking for:
To be considered as a preferred candidate in this role, you will need to have the following:
• Bachelor of Science Degree, Engineer or similar. (Mechanical, mechatronics or electrical) Preferably combined with a commercial education
• Leadership skills and +5 years of experience in managing salespeople
• +10 years of experience as high performing sales manager
• Hydronic system & product knowledge or alternatively ventilation system/airside knowledge.
• Able to read and understand pipe and instrument diagrams and building layouts and thereby support customers in the design phase. (HVAC schematics in particular)
• Knowledge of HVAC stakeholders and decisions makers in China is essential.
• Knowledge of BMS applications including BACnet, MODBUS or similar and BUS/controller knowledge is relevant.
• Presentation and public speaking skills.
• Service and support mindset and strong relationship building skills.
You can communicate efficiently across all levels of the organization. You are business- and customer-oriented and working together with other salespeople and professionals brings out your best. Furthermore, you are persistent, have excellent analytical skills and are self-driven. You are known as a trustworthy and dedicated leader and team player, you have experience working in a Nordic/Chinese business culture, and you are fluent in English and Chinese.
